Windjammers – there is no other cruise experience like it. When the sails are up, the engines cut you get transported to another world.
A personal account of a cruise from Punta Arenas to Ushuaia, via Magellan Strait, the South Atlantic, The Falkland Islands, South Georgia, South Orkneys, The Weddell Sea, South Shetlands, The Antarctic Peninsula and Drake Passage.
We were in Greece for 5 nights, covered a lot of ground but really
enjoyed Delphi and Meteora. I had not been back there since I was a “backpacker” in the 70’s!!!
Two nights in Athens was also interesting although with a day at the Acopolis and
a late flight on day of arrival we saw very little.
